Who is Rambling?
First – Yes, this is another “mommy blog.” But then, I’m not forcing you to visit or read it, so no complaining.
Second – Here’s the scoop on this mommy’s family:
We reside in the midwest, and our family consists of me – RC (30-something), the Hubby (40-something), and our son, Little Dude (two-years-old), as well as the furbaby of the family, Supercat (just over 11-years-old).
Little Dude arrived in January 2007. He is serious and curious, yet has an award-winning smile and laugh, when all is right in his world.
Supercat came with me when the Hubby proposed. Some days the Hubby likes Supercat, other days he is just tolerating him. I consider Supercat my first “son.” Supercat enjoys sneaking outside for a quick roll on the concrete and playing fetch. (Yes, Supercat plays fetch – especially with his stuffed tiger.)
We have been living happily ever after since 2001, and began dating back in 1999.
The Hubby works hard, loves the outdoors and is master of the family kitchen. He wishes he had more spare time and is annoyed that his yard isn’t perfect quite yet.
I walk the tightrope of balancing work and family, and wishing my commute was much shorter. I enjoy reading, music of all varieties, surfing the Web and traveling. I’m happy to have introduced the Hubby to Walt Disney World.
Hi! Just thought I’d check out updates on your website. I can see what you mean about Little Dude growing up so fast! He’s bigger than the last time I saw him! But just think….that means a variety of more enjoyable times to look forward to!!! I think every parent wishes their child could stay younger longer. You amaze me with your motivation and effort to keep up with this website. Right now, I’m struggling to write this! I wish we could’ve talked longer when you called but you know how it is when you have to schedule your time around a feeding schedule! I was just curious what part of XXXX you were from? Currently, I am on a long-term personal mission on the Mississippi Gulf Coast assisting families rebuilding their homes and lives after Hurricane Katrina. Started a blog to help deter the loneliness and to keep in touch with friends and family.
