Vacation is Great. Heading Home is Bliss.

October 23, 2008

Little Dude poses for Mommy, in Atlanta's airport, just prior to meltdown.

Despite the good times had by all, I think Little Dude was beyond excited to be heading home after our long time away.

More than 48 hours in a motor home.

+

Ten nights sleeping in unfamiliar places

+

Five days spent in four chaotic theme parks

One extremely exhausted, worn-out and slightly cranky toddler.

But, was it worth it?

Oh yes…

Always worth it, but so tiring. With kids I always think that I need a vacation to recover from my vacation. I love the Buzz Lightyear shirt, BTW.

You seriously need to put those pics on Shutterfly, so I can get some prints.

I’m actually going to make a Disney scrapbook. OMG… Did I just say I was going to scrapbook? Somebody shoot me and put me out of my freakin’ misery. **Sigh** I’m losing my mind, I swear!

BTW, Target sells these really cute Disney scrapbook kits for $20. Yeah, I bought one. That’s the only way I’ll scrap!

Julie – You’ll get there! I love that picture, too, as dusk was just beginning to settle in, so the lights in the water were really illuminating his face.

inthefastlane – Isn’t that T-shirt cute? Yes, I could use a spa day to recover from the vacation, I think…

Mrs V – I don’t do Shutterfly, but will try to upload to my Snapfish account this coming weekend. Scrapbook? Aak! It is my dreaded word. Remember – that is why I blog.
