Itsy Bitsy Spider
Okay, I need to do a momentary mommy brag.
Little Dude started, within the last couple of weeks, doing the spider hand motions whenever I sing the song, “Itsy Bitsy Spider.”
He doesn’t do all of the hand motions, just the spider part.
This may not be a big thing to some, but since I’m the one who always does that song and routine for him, all I can think and say is, “how cool is that!?!?!?”
Especially since he started doing the movements with his own hands all on his own.
He also claps when you sing, “If you are happy and you know it…” That one can probably be more attributed to my neighbor than to me, though, as I know that is one she likes to do with her son, so I’m still more wowed by the song I know I taught him… (Selfish mommy moment. Please excuse me.)
I think it’s adorable, and you have every right to brag!!! Such a smart Little Dude you have!!
